Creative learning for your community
In addition to one-on-one coaching sessions, Kody offers workshops and presentations for children, teens, and adults on understanding gender and supporting identities outside the binary. You can expect a creative, warm, often playful approach that meets community members where they are without compromising on the humanity, dignity, and rights of trans people.
Every workshop or presentation is tailored specifically to the host group. Spiritually-grounded messages can be prepared for religious groups.

Busting the Myths, Caring for Kids: Understanding and Supporting Trans Youth
Research consistently shows that supportive, affirming community makes a huge difference in the well-being of trans young people. What kind of support is really needed, and how can you offer it? This workshop focuses on addressing misinformation about trans young people and replacing it with evidence-based knowledge and strategies that empower adults to provide loving advocacy and support to young people.
Celebrating Us! Story Time
Read-aloud and discussion from children’s picture books featuring gender-expansive characters and diversity as a community strength. Ages 5-12.
Choose Your-Own-Adventure: Exploring Gender and Identity
Use art, journaling, and discussion to explore who you are, how you express yourself to the world, and how you want to be seen and treated by others. Ages 13+.
